I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel nestled on a hillside overlooking a pristine lake. The rooms were not only very comfortable and spotlessly clean, but also boasted beautiful handcrafted furniture. I was delighted by the stunning views from my balcony and the inviting winter garden was a fantastic feature. The friendly staff, including Frau Ebner who spoke excellent English, added an extra touch of hospitality. The breakfasts were a highlight, with a delicious home baked cake on one morning and a variety of options to choose from.

All aspects of my stay were absolutely fine.

Wonderful room with high-quality wood furniture, comfortable bed, and special wooden furniture displayed in the annex. Extremely clean. Simple but good breakfast with homemade jam and honey. Many hiking opportunities, including a nice hike to Eibensee lake.

There is even a section of private beach on the lake to enjoy. the location is perfect for exploring nearby lakes and mountains and the host provides plenty of helpful tourist information.

The location is a bit out of the way and requires a steep climb back to the village.

During our Christmas stay, we had a great time enjoying the stunning views of the lake from the balcony of our cozy and clean self-catering apartment. We appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen and the welcoming hosts who provided us with plenty of useful information on nearby activities. having a private beach access was a great advantage, allowing us to take a refreshing dip in the lake and relax under the winter sun.

The walk back to the apartment was quite steep and challenging, especially after a long day of activities. , we were hoping for some public spaces or garden areas to hang out and socialize, but unfortunately, we didn't find any.

We had a great time in this cosy and clean apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals like at home, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking. The town was just a short walk away, and we found plenty of restaurants and small markets to buy groceries. The owners were friendly and gave us great recommendations for local activities, like hiking and water sports.

That it got a bit chilly at night and we had trouble figuring out the heating system. Also, the location was a little bit out of the way, so it took us some time to walk up and down the steep hill to the town. But honestly, the beautiful views made it all worth it!
